Who operates PhoneTether
PhoneTether is provided by Toyz2k LLC. In this policy, “PhoneTether,” “we,” and “us” refer to Toyz2k LLC.
Information processed on your devices
PhoneTether uses Bluetooth connection state and a device identifier locally to create and restore the private link between your iPhone and Apple Watch. It also stores app preferences such as whether protection is enabled, your selected grace period, and a limited diagnostic event history.
This information remains in PhoneTether’s local storage on your devices. It is not sent to Toyz2k LLC.
Location and distance
PhoneTether does not request access to Location Services, record your location, create a location history, or calculate the exact distance between your devices. The app reacts when its Bluetooth link is lost or restored.
Communication between iPhone and Apple Watch
Your settings and protection status are exchanged directly between your paired devices using Apple-provided Bluetooth and WatchConnectivity services. Apple’s services and your devices are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
Data collection, tracking, and sharing
The PhoneTether app has no account system, advertising, analytics, third-party tracking SDK, or Toyz2k-hosted backend. Toyz2k LLC does not receive, sell, rent, or share personal information from the app.
Website privacy
This website does not use an account, contact form, advertising tracker, or analytics script. Like other websites, its hosting and security provider may process ordinary request information—such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access—to deliver and protect the site. That technical website traffic is separate from PhoneTether app activity.
Retention and deletion
App settings and diagnostic events remain locally on your devices until they are changed, cleared inside the app where available, or the app is deleted. Deleting PhoneTether from both the iPhone and Apple Watch removes its locally stored app data from those devices, subject to Apple’s operating-system behavior.
Children’s privacy
Because PhoneTether does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect. The effective date at the top will show when the policy was last revised.
